This is a tale from so long ago,

forgotten by overthe wind.

He stayed awhile but come one dawn,

nowhere was he found.

Still each everyday, she only waits;

She never spoke, but sometimes

she'd look to the distance for hours

Then she'd go home, but by now

her love is a sea of fire
