Surrounded by the snares of death overwhelmed by destroying floods

They confronted me in the darkest of days I cried O Lord be my shield

In my distress I called out to the Lord

From the Heavens He heard my cry

The great light everlasting

That scatters the darkness about

For who is God except our God And who is the rock save our God

The God who girded me with strength and kept my way unerring
