Away in a manger

No crib for a bed

The little Lord Jesus lay down

His sweet head

The stars in the bright sky looked down where he lay

The little boy Jesus asleep on the hay

The cattle are lowing

The baby awakes

But little Lord Jesus

No crying he makes

I love thee Lord Jesus

Look down from the sky

And stay by my side till morning is nigh

In hear me Lord Jesus I only can say

Those lie my before I say drop them for my pray

Bless all the dear children in thy tender care

And take us to Heaven to live with thee there
