Many's the time I've been moved or inclined

Just yesterday I heard somebody say I'd forget you

If I had my way I'd forget you today in a minute

But it's easier said than trying to say goodbye

Casually dressed I'm surviving I guess

I guess only the time will tell

It don't really matter much where I go next

Just as long as it turns out well

Slow feet on a movin' street

And the folks I meet all know

I ain't half as happy

As I was a week ago
