Two men lived in the city

One was rich the other had no money

One owned countless flocks of sheep

The other only had this one to keep

And so the plot thickens

The poor man loved his lamb

The rich man watched and found no joy

Until he seized the other man's toy

And so the plot sickens

And so it sickens

And so it came to pass

he snatched it he strapped it

he stole the little lamb

Didn't need to

but his greed had to

bleed the other man

What say you King

King

Who is this heartless thief

This terrible godless beast

Whose needs strike wild and fierce

O God rain down Your curse

I am the chosen king

I am God's open sling

Defender of the humble

At my feet giants fall

Prophet

Well as it came to pass

You snatched it you strapped it

You stole this little lamb

Didn't need to

but your greed had to

bleed that broken man

King

Am I that heartless thief

Am I that terrible godless beast

Is my greed wild and fierce

Will God rain down His curse

He nursed his one and only

I gained far too many

My thirst quenched his life

And I coveted my neighbors wife

Both

And so it quickens

And so it weakens
