The Baby Namboos

The Baby Namboos是一支上世纪90年代英国的一支trip-hop乐队。他们的成员之一——Mark Porter，和Tricky是堂兄弟，参与制作了他们首张专辑中的几首曲目。他们的作品《Late Night Antics》曾激发一支新泽西摇滚乐队的灵感，从而给自己乐队取名叫Mister Behavior——那首作品中提到的一个人物。   成员：Tricky, Julian Brooke, Leo Coleing, Mark Porter, Claude Wiliams, Aurora Borealis(Zoe Bedeaux)   by  Heather Phares   The trip-hop group Baby Namboos consists of programmer/songwriter Mike Porter, vocalists Claude Williams, Leo Coleing and Aurora Borealis, drummer Mad-dog and bassist Julian Brooke. Porter began the band in 1998, when he went to New York City to visit his cousin Tricky, who encouraged his musical explorations. Soon after, Porter and his friend Coleing began recording in a Manchester studio, adding band members along the way. Tricky continued to provide guidance and encouragement, performed on a few tracks, and released the Baby Namboos debut album Ancoats 2 Zambia on his own Durban Poison imprint.
