Neja (Agnese Cacciola's stage name) has always had a passion for music: she started playing piano when she was very young and continued singing jazz and gospel. In 1998 she starts a recording project and writes with Alex Bagnoli the hits "Restless" and "Shock". The following year she wins "Un disco per l'estate" with the single "The game", becoming a guest in all the episodes of Festivalbar and the protagonist of a long world tour. The 2000 is a year of gold for Neja: the remix version of "Fairytale" is very popular in the European radio circuits and in the summer period the single "Singin' nanana", presented at Festivalbar, imposes itself as soundtrack. In 2001 Neja enters in the TOP DANCE charts with "Time flies" and "Back 4 the morning" and performs in a tour in USA, from New York to Boston and crossing Texas. The pop trend accompanies 2002: "Looking for something" is the opening track for the albums HOT STUFF and TO THE MUSIC. 2005 is the year of "Who's gonna be?" that is published in Italy, Spain and Eastern Europe in different versions (pop, rock, reggae, dance). In 2007 she returns to dance with the single "Catwalk" and a splendid debut in France. Neja rediscovers her jazz roots during 2008: in ACOUSTICLUB, she reinterprets some famous songs in an acoustic key, transforming them into unique pieces. With 133 SUSHICLUB Neja through refined sounds gives life to an album immediately defined a little pearl for the lounge genre. In 2009 the new dance single "Loving you" was chosen to be the soundtrack of the Coconuda commercial, while in 2010 "Sorry" was released. In 2011 it is the turn of the new album 133 SUSHICLUB Vol.2 whose soul ranges from jazz to pop, with more electronic arrangements and sees the precious collaboration of Cristian Montagnani. In the same year Neja happily becomes a mother and sees officially recognized her commitment to social issues with the appointment of Ambassador for Human Rights. Between the end of 2011 and the beginning of 2012 the collaboration with the world of TV adv continues and "Walking on a dream" becomes the soundtrack of the Coconuda Spot. Also in 2012 is published 133 SUSHICLUB Vol. 3 with the FBI BAND: an album consisting of 10 covers rearranged and magically interpreted. The dance singles "Good friend" and "Sun has come again" are released; the latter song is chosen as the 2012 theme song of the Torre del Lago Puccini Festival in Tuscany. In 2013 comes NEJA VU, a collection of 12 songs of covers and unpublished songs, the album is broadcasted as a preview on Radio Monte Carlo and during some evenings of the DJ Marco Fullone with whom Neja often collaborates. During her decades-long career, the artist has achieved extraordinary results: over 4 million copies sold worldwide, 8 successful albums, 20 singles at the top of the charts and 17 international tours (India, Japan, USA, Greece, England, France, Spain, Switzerland, Turkey, Italy). He boasts collaborations with prestigious realities such as: Rolex, Chrysler, Yachting Club Montecarlo, Radio Montecarlo, Skyy Vodka, Venice Film Festival, Maserati, Jimmy Choo, Mercedes. Neja consecrated by now as Queen of the Night by the music critics, focuses for 2017 on her new productions and extraordinary Dance and Acoustic projects, in collaboration with djs and musicians of international caliber, to continue to surprise with her unique and eclectic personality. Last April, "Brother" was released, an intimate and delicate song about the deep lack of a loved one and the difficult moments that each of us is forced to face in life. This is the first of a series of songs with electronic pop sounds that will see the light in the coming months: Neja wants to discover with lyrics and music a different look matured over the years while continuing in parallel to make different generations dance during his live shows. On June 09, instead, Neja returns after almost 20 years to collaborate with his historical producer Pippo Landro with a new dance track "Take Me To The Club" gaining immediately consensus and enthusiasm among his fans. In April 2019 Neja returns once again to dance with the new single, and new video clip, "I'm Calling You" on Distar Records. The song is also the soundtrack of the Coconuda commercial aired on national networks during the Sanremo Festival. NEJA DANCE PROJECT From 1998, the year of Restless, to the most famous Dancefloors in the world. 4 million copies and 17 international tours...an explosive mix of dance/pop/soul! "Watching from the stage people dance, smile, get excited and let go while I sing my songs, is a show that I could not give up" - Neja
