한 편의 영화 같은 타이틀곡 ‘MOVIE’로 돌아온 비투비의 열 번째 미니앨범 [Feel’eM] 2016년 11월 그 동안 볼 수 없었던 비투비의 파격적이면서도 새로운 모습을 보여준 ‘기도(I’ll be your man)에 이어 비투비의 색다른 매력을 보여줄 열 번째 미니앨범 [Feel’eM]으로 돌아왔다. 이번 앨범의 타이틀 곡은 ‘MOVIE’로 비투비 멤버 정일훈의 자작곡이다. 뻔한 멜로 영화의 사랑 이야기를 비투비 멤버들의 개성을 잘 표현하여 위트 있게 풀어낸 곡이라 할 수 있다. 또한 앨범 발매 전 멤버 임현식의 곡인 ‘언젠가(SOMEDAY)’를 선공개하며 각종 음원 차트에서 1위를 기록하며, 이번 앨범에 대한 기대감을 한층 더 높였다. 또한, 이번 뮤직비디오에서는 멤버들이 영화를 찍으면서 보여주는 비투비 특유의 코믹함과 멋스러움을 넘나드는 스토리가 보는 즐거움을 더해준다. 타이틀 곡 ‘MOVIE’는 건반과 브라스 편곡 위주의 펑크 스타일 댄스 곡이다. 상처 입은 한 여인의 모습에 반한 남자의 이야기로, 뻔한 멜로 영화의 사랑 이야기처럼 낭만적으로 사랑 하겠다는 남자다운 가사가 포인트이며, 에너지 넘치지만 신사적인 모습을 어필하는 곡이다. 또한 멤버 정일훈의 자작곡으로 중독성 강한 멜로디로 들으면 들을수록 빠져드는 매력적인 곡으로 이민혁, 프니엘이 함께 직접 작사에 참여 하는 등 개인 파트에서 각자의 개성을 잘 보여주는 곡이다. 앨범의 첫 번째 트랙인 ‘말만 해’는 전 앨범 [NEWMEN]의 타이틀곡 '기도'를 프로듀싱했던 임현식과 EDEN의 두 번째 호흡을 보여주는 펑키한 댄스곡이다. 신나는 일렉기타 리듬에 누구나 쉽게 따라 부를 수 있는 중독적인 멜로디가 더해져 듣는 이의 심장을 뛰게 만드는 곡이다. 세 번째 트랙인 ‘ABOUT TIME’은 멤버 이민혁의 자작곡으로 되돌릴 수도, 붙잡을 수도 없는 늘 곁에 있기에 그 소중함을 잊고 마는 시간과 그대가 떠나가 버린 공허함과 그리움을 비투비만의 감성적이고 아름다운 음색으로 담담하게 풀어낸 R&B 힙합 곡이다. 트렌디한 느낌의 밝은 R&B곡인 ‘빨리 뛰어(ROCK N HIPHOP)’는 좋아하는 이성을 음악 장르인 Rock과 Hiphop에 비유한 가사가 포인트이다. 편안하고 여유로운 트랙 위에 멤버들의 센스 있는 표현력이 더해져 위트 있는 사랑고백 노래를 완성시켰다. 마지막 트랙인 ‘언젠가(SOMEDAY)’는 이번 앨범이 발매되기 전 선공개로 공개되며 믿고 듣는 비투비표 감성 발라드곡으로 화제를 불러 일으켰다. 멤버 임현식의 자작곡으로 ‘기도(I’ll be your man)’와는 또 다른 감성을 잘 보여주는 록 발라드 곡이다. 후회를 하면서도 변치 않는 마음, 그리고 아무도 알지 못하는 불확실한 미래지만 분명 더 좋은 때에 만날 수 있음을 간절히 표현한 가사가 인상적이다. 또한, 비투비 멤버들의 감성적이고 아련함이 묻어나는 보이스에 대중적인 멜로디가 더해져 듣는 이들의 마음을 사로잡는 곡이다. 지난 앨범의 댄스 타이틀곡 ‘기도(I’ll be your man)’과는 또 다른 매력을 발산할 펑키하면서도 유쾌함이 묻어나는 댄스곡 ‘MOVIE’ 부터 역대급 발라드 곡으로 인정받은 선공개곡 ‘언젠가(SOMEDAY)’까지 귀를 사로잡는 다섯 곡이 수록된 열 번째 미니앨범 [Feel’eM]! 다양한 매력을 한껏 느낄 수 있는 비투비의 영화 같은 멋진 활동이 기대 되는 앨범이다. BTOB returns with movie-like title song, ‘MOVIE’, along with 10th mini album, [Feel’eM] In October 2016, BTOB had shown their new and phenomenal looks with ‘I’ll Be Your Man’ to the public, and as a following BTOB returns with 10th mini album [Feel’eM] which will show their different charms. The title track ‘MOVIE’ is an original song written by Ilhoon, a member of BTOB, and tells about a predictable love story which we can see in a common romance movie, but somewhat witty song that reflects each BTOB member’s personalities. In addition, ‘SOMEDAY’, one of a track included in [Feel’eM], has been pre-released a week before the release date of its album and presented a remarkable record with the no.1 rank on various online music charts. Furthermore, the music video contains not only BTOB member’s own hilarious characters but it also shows awesome looks and those will add more enjoyment on it. The title track, ‘MOVIE’ is a funk style dance music based on full brass arrangements and electric piano sound, and composed of repeated melodies which makes itself a highly addictive song. This track is a story about a man, who has a crush on a broken hearted woman, appeals his energetic but gentlemanly personality and manly lyrics, that promising he will love her as a typical romance movie, will be its most attractive feature of the song. It is originally written by Ilhoon, and other two members of BTOB, Minhyuk, Peniel, has also co-write the lyrics with him. The first track, ‘Just Tell Me’, is a funky dance music co-written by Hyunsik and EDEN who had previously done their amazing collaboration work of ‘I’ll Be Your Man’, the title track of BTOB’s previous album, [NEWMEN]. The song makes listener’s heart pounding and they will be in love with aggressive electric guitar rhythm and the repeated melodies that anyone can easily follow along with. The third track, ‘ABOUT TIME’, written by Minhyuk(BTOB), is a R&B hip-hop song that talks about irreversible, uncatchable time which we often forget about the importance, and it also interprets the emptiness and nostalgia, after a lover has left, with BTOB’s emotional and beautiful voice. Another song included in this album is ‘ROCK N HIPHOP’, the trendy and bright R&B song. One of the main points of attraction of this song is that it compares a loving girl to music genres; Rock and Hip-hop. On top of the comfortable and relaxed track, BTOB’s sensible expression has been added and created a well-crafted witty love song. The last track, ‘SOMEDAY’ has been pre-released before the release date of its album, and has attracted a lot of attention defending its title of credible BTOB in emotional ballad field. This song is also written by one of the BTOB members, Hyunsik, and it is very emotional such as his previous song, ‘I’ll Be Your Man’ but in different genre, Rock Ballad. Lyrics tells about a story of a man who felt regrets about the past, but never change one’s mind toward a loving woman. And it is very impressive that the lyrics appeal desperate of meet the lover again someday, a better day than before, among the uncertain and unpredictable future. In addition, the listeners will be attracted to both popular melodies and BTOB’s emotional voice.
