The Mediator Between Head and Hands Must Be the Heart

死亡金属史上又一传奇乐队-巴西埋葬，发行了全新的录音专辑。最近老牌死亡金属乐队发新片都是饱受诟病，风格的突变是主要原因，而Sepultura也未能逃过一劫。

死亡金属乐队Sepultura（葡萄牙语“埋葬”）乐队于1984年成立于巴西的Belo Horizonte，成员包括主唱麦克思·卡瓦莱拉（Max Cavalera）和鼓手伊戈·卡瓦莱拉（Igor Cavalera）两弟兄，另外还有他们的同学：吉他手Jairo T.以及贝斯手保罗·平托·Jr.（Paulo Pinto Jr.）。Sepultura乐队是巴西最为知名的重金属乐队。他们创作了很多影响深远的专辑，象《Bestial Devastation》以及《Morbid Visions》。1986年由吉他手安德里亚·基舍尔（Andreas Kisser）接替了离队的Jairo，乐队于1987年发行了专辑《Schizophrenia》，这张专辑为Sepultura赢得了世界级地下乐队的声誉。1989年的专辑《Beneath The Remains》以及1991年的《Arise》由Roadrunner唱片发行，进一步的提高了乐队的知名度。Sepultura狂躁的音乐让人不禁联想到Metallica以及Iron Maiden这些急流重金属乐队，而有很强政治观点的歌词则是受到朋克乐队Dead Kennedys的影响，Sepultura对死亡的认识并没有只停留在死亡和绝望本身，他们也谈到了对巴西政治腐败的不满，这也就是他们与其它死亡金属乐队不同之处。
