It was such a perfect hiding place

In the window of that car light was just a cover

Sky would turn to night and fade away

Just to get off land

I set up shop in the sand

I made a paper boat

Now down the river I float

Once we hit the water we both tried to swim again

We thought we both lose the time

The rain came down blame it on the change in weather

Yeah we f**ked up but at least we tried

I curled up fit into a piece of paper

And fold it over close my eyes and hide

And here on off I'll catch it with you baby

And that way we won't have to say goodbye

Just to get off land
