Juno Interlude (Live At Radio City Music Hall) Lyrics
Juno Interlude (Live At Radio City Music Hall) - Bleachers
Lyrics by:Jack Antonoff
Composed by:Jack Antonoff
There's been overture before
Who's first time tonight
The origin of this band
Lies with one sound you've been hearing all-night
It's that sound
Do you hear that low sound
Dou you hear that low sound
That feels like it's hugging you
If you take it away
You got some much anxiety
Flying through the air all the thoughts
You put it back in
You're ******* glued together
Do you feel that
There were times in my life
When there was no sound calling me
It's gone
I feel nothing but anxiety
I don't know what the **** I'm doing
And therefore once in a while
You hear it coming from a distance heaven filled
You hear the distance
You hear the distance
Then it gets louder
Then you know what the **** you're doing again
Cuz it's holding you
Do you feel that
You ever been in a point in your life
Where ****'s going good
But you're not happy
You feel really good doing it
I had that going on
I had a lot of silence in my life
Bring that silence
I would stay in hotel rooms
And I was doing ****
I didn't really wanna do
And I started listening to some records
That were really inspiring me
And I noticed this low humming sound
That glued everything together
And I love it because
There was a lot of sadness in it
So it wasn't apologizing for any sadness
And there's like this **** ton of hope
Kinda thing pushing you forward
And I loved that
And I searched it
And it was a Juno six keyboard
And I bought it on eBay
And it came to my house
Plugged in my headphones
And this is what I heard
And then I started ******* around
I thought there's is that low hum
Started playing melodies on top
And the first thing for this band
And I knew it was gonna be this band
It was this note
Play it again
And back to the low note
And it's the story that started this band
That low note in my headphones
Wondering holy ****
Maybe one day we could play
Maybe one day we could play
Maybe one day we could play
Only dreaming about nights like tonight on radio City
And I noticed that low sound right
And then band started to be come a band
We found these numbers
And we started playing
And we found an audience of people
Who for some ******* reason
Wanted to celebrate grief with Tapy Tunes
Thank you for being here
For some reason
We were glued together by that
Low humming sadness
Mixed with complete honour and hope
And it glued us the **** together
And when we did at the small room
In the bigger rooms
All the way up tonight
I ******* feel like I know everyone here
I wanna thank you for being here
It means the world
And there is a lot of **** to worry about
But I come to bleachers to play the piano
Coz when I am on piano
I don't ******* feel anything else
Because I'm celebrating a certain kind of grief
I think you guys are here for the same reason
So let's do that
