Their musical style is influenced by hip-hop, pop, rock, and electronic dance music (EDM) -- which they collectively refer to as "new jpop." The group takes its name from a fusion of the words "creative" and "team". The group creates their music by having Minami compose a song's lyrics in English, after which point Staxx T translates it into Japanese.
