Overthrow

by Mike DaRonco Having emerged out of the Long Island Hard Core scene in 1996, Overthrow started to gain a small following on the East Coast by opening gigs for V.O.D., 25 ta Life and Madball amongst others before releasing their first demo "No Authority." Through the next few years to come, a hand full of singles were released on various labels; this discography included split EPs with One for One, No Submission and Voice of Reason. In early 1999, Triple Crown Records released their first album in early 1999 entitled React, which like their previous releases, contains lots of gang chants, heavy "chugga-chugga" guitar sounds and breakdown fills.
