21 Followers灌过多张唱片，也主演过不下十余部电影的刘蓝溪，年轻时从未想过会从事演艺工作。读高中时，她顶着清汤挂面的发型到台视参观歌唱比赛，意外地被美工设计龙思良发现，龙思良带着这个十六岁的女娃去拍照，并介绍给台视导播认识。没有多久，这位清纯甜美的少女就做起临时演员。刘蓝溪的第一张唱片是《夕阳恋曲》。她清新的外表，未经修饰而秀丽的脸蛋，在一窝蜂浓妆艳抹的群星中，显得格外可人脱俗。唱片卖得很好，接着第二张《风儿别敲我窗》、之后《野姜花的回忆》、《小时候的愿望》等纷纷出笼。连琼瑶也觉得她抢眼亮丽，邀她参加《聚散两依依》、《梦的衣裳》、《却上心头》等影片演出。最后香港电影公司也着迷于她的清新，邀她赴港担任《泡妞》一片的女主角。
