Glover is the first female winner of the show since Jordin Sparks won in 2007, the fourth African-American winner in American Idol history and the only winner to have auditioned three times before being cast for the live shows. Her debut album Music Speaks is scheduled for release on February 18, 2014, after being pushed back from October and July 2013
