The end of 2019 brought us closure to a decade. 2010 to 2019 was a real roller coaster of a ride. JOOX came to life somewhere in between and together with you, we would like to celebrate our favourites of 2019!

1. Circles - Post Malone
They say what goes around comes around and with a song like this, Post Malone has come full circle! Excuse the pun and in all seriousness, Post Malone truly outdid himself on Circles. While still keeping to his signature style that his fans can recognize, Post Malone showed a different side of himself in this song both thematically and stylistically. This is your most loved international song of 2019!
2. Thank u, next - Ariana Grande
Coming out early in 2019, Ariana Grande's hit single thank u, next that was released in an album of the same name in February, is her third consecutive number one album. This song was not only popular as a fun and catchy track but also grew in proportions as a meme and iconic one liner. Despite its early release, it stayed hugely popular throughout 2019 and definitely deserves its number 2 spot.
3. I.F.L.Y. - Bazzi
Bazzi exploded as a star when his first single Mine was replicated everywhere from it's intoxicating hook. Not wanting to simply be a passing fad, Bazzi proved that he is an artist through and through. In I.F.L.Y., Bazzi showcased his unique talent of writing and producing hip hop tracks that are not only unique but absolutely addictive at the same time. Keeping raw emotions at the forefront, I.F.L.Y. rounds out the top three of international songs!

1. Kill This Love - BLACKPINK
"Kill This Love" is a song by Korean girl group BLACKPINK, included in their second mini album of the same name, as the album's debut single. A song that mainly describes the two sides of love after being hurt by the relationship. The single is filled with brainwashing magical melody, plus a simple Ya-Ya-Ya-Ya-Ya that is so addictive. How can it not be the top song of 2019?!
2. Boy With Luv - BTS ft Halsey
BTS returned in April this year. The song "Boy With Luv" in the album is a big one. They had the American power singer Halsey to help out to enhance this song further. Not only did she present her voice, but she also personally issued a mirror MV with a gradient of coral orange. She also showed few dance moves in the film too!
3. Don't Know What To Do - BLACKPINK
The second song in the album, "Don't Know What to Do", is also our Top 3 song in the Top 50 of JOOX Japan and South Korea. Thanks to Blink for supporting Blackpink in 2019 so that their songs are in the top 3!

It's definitely been a beautiful year for Floor 88. This haunting track has been on the lips of many and will be crowned number one on JOOX!
2. Sumpah - Naim Daniel
Taking inspiration from his own love story, this song clearly touches the soul of the listeners with the honesty it presents.
3. Mimpi (feat. Alif) - K-Clique
Here is the result of the collaboration between Alif and K-Clique. Nabbing the 3rd spot here and claiming notoriety across Malaysia elevates this group from Sabah to greater heights.

In January, Selena is at the top of everyone's favourites list thanks to her amazing collaborations on Taki Taki and I Can't Get Enough. However, she did quiet down after that. Then how did Selena became the top artist of 2019? Well, thanks to the major hype for her upcoming album, Rare and the releases of tracks from that album including Lose You to Love Me and Look at Her Now, Selena Gomez has conquered 2019.
2. Alan Walker
Alan Walker is always a usual suspect when it comes to being a top artist of the year. Always nailing the right collaborations and coming up with just the right tracks, Alan Walker stunned us this year. Also, special shoutout to his PUBG single, On My Way that not only did we love but also enjoyed seeing him getting involved in our hobbies as well!
3. Post Malone
2019 has been a fantastic year for Post Malone. Multiple great hits, a new album and more. Showing a new side and only more great things to come. Would 2020 be Post Malone’s year to climb to the very top!

BTS in 2019 is full of love! They traveled around the world, and went to all the awards ceremony where they definitely took home awards. Every step of the way, A.R.M.Y was there to give your full support. Our Idols are on top of the list here on JOOX!
2. BLACKPINK
Blackpink in 2019 is also full of love! "Kill This Love" became BLACKPINK's second successful album, and they refreshed the achievements of "Square Up". They also became the first group to enter the official distinguished list as Korean women's group, and the second Korean singer to reach the top 40 in the list.
3. iKON
iKON in 2019 can be said to have joy and sorrow. The joy is that they broke out onto the American stage in January 2019. The sad thing is that in June, member B.I left the group because of the incident. The ups and downs of iKON of 2019 will make it a memorable one; for better or worse.
