Umedacypher

The latest EP from Umeda Cypher, a rap collective from Umeda, Osaka.

It has been a little over a year since the release of their full album Big Jumbo Jet.
Their post-release activities have become even bigger, including an appearance at THE FIRST TAKE and a one-man show at Studio Coast for the first and last time in their career, just before the closing of the building.

This work is the next step.
After inviting outside producers to expand their worldview, they have once again created an EP on their own.

The title is Show Must Go On.

The title track, which means whatever we start, we will keep going, no matter what happens, is the core of the EP.
Each member describes the events and emotions that have occurred in Show so far from his or her own angle.

It is a hymn to ourselves who have continued to this point, and
It is also a determination to move up to an even bigger stage.

There is a group of "Umeda Cypher" that calls itself Japan's number one rap enthusiast.
Each and every one of them is at the forefront of this rap collective of MCs.
Often missing the last train at the pedestrian bridge on Saturdays, they continue to rap until the end of the day, and have produced such artists as R-shitei, KOPERU, Fank, KBD, peko, KZ, KennyDoes, and Take-M, to date.
The latest EP "Travolta Custom" is fresh in your minds, and this time we are releasing part 2 of the song "HEADSHOT" from it.
"This one is just the beginning, a warm-up."
As per this peko line, there was a continuation to HEADSHOT.
The aims that could not die in the first shot and the members of the group met again.

R-shitei / KOPERU / Fanku / KBD / peko / KZ / Doiken a.k.a. KennyDoes / Takem has produced leading players.
To date, the album "Never Get Old" has sold out the first 2,000 CDs.
In the EP "TRAVOLTACUST MOBILE" with limited members, it ranked first in the hip-hop / rap category of the iTunes Store.
In the fall of 2020, such Umeda cyphers gathered in Shirahama, Wakayama Prefecture to make their next work.
This EP "UC 1DAY '20" was born at a production camp that was held for a limited time of 1 night and 2 days.
Umeda Cipher delivered the training camp live, and the completed song was shown live at the end of the delivery.
Umeda Cipher does not die even in the self-restraint mood caused by the coronavirus.
