The <Louis Vuitton × Murakami> collection, the first since 2003, has launched on January 1, 2025.
Inspired by this collection, an extraordinary duo, MNNK Bro. (Takashi Murakami & JP THE WAVY), has created the campaign theme song. The track is featured in the teaser movie for the <Louis Vuitton × Murakami> collection, which was released on Louis Vuitton's official social media platforms. A music video for the song, produced with full support from Louis Vuitton, is also set to be released. The music video was directed by BRTHR, a directing duo consisting of Alex Lee & Kyle Wighman, who have also directed music videos for Travis Scott's "butterfly effect" and Joji's "Yukon (Interlude)".

Renowned contemporary artist Takashi Murakami has held his first solo exhibition in eight years at a domestic museum, the "Takashi Murakami: Mononoke Kyoto" at the Kyoto City Kyocera Museum, attracting over 250,000 visitors in three months and garnering significant attention.

For this exhibition, the unit <MNNK Bro. (Takashi Murakami & JP THE WAVY)> was formed with JP THE WAVY handling the theme song, which led to the digital release of the previously museum-exclusive theme song "Mononoke Kyoto."

Takashi Murakami also designed the artwork, featuring characters of both JP THE WAVY and Murakami himself.

Additionally, a music video was released on the same day. Directed by Spikey John, it was filmed at significant locations in Kyoto such as the Kyoto City Kyocera Museum, Gion Kobu Kaburenjo Theater, and Adashino Nenbutsu-ji Temple, making it a remarkable piece.
