KIRA & MICHVEL JVMES will release their collaborative EP "Omotenashi" on December 6, 2025.
Rooted in R&B and hip-hop, the EP combines refined urban sounds with a distinctly Japanese aesthetic, creating a project that fully showcases the creative strengths of both artists. 
The EP features five tracks, including the title track "Omotenashi", the groove-heavy "GLG", the modern reinterpretation of Japanese textures in "Miyabizm", the sleek and sensual "boyfriend", and the emotional Japanese-language track "Yakusoku".
The project spans a wide range of expressions, going beyond traditional R&B and hip-hop frameworks.
A highlight of the EP is the title track "Omotenashi", featuring Mummy-D of RHYMESTER, one of Japan's leading hip-hop artists.
His deep lyrics and grounded flow add a new dimension to KIRA & MICHVEL JVMES' sonic world.
The EP title, "Omotenashi," refers to the Japanese concepts of hospitality, thoughtfulness, and comfort. KIRA & MICHVEL JVMES reinterpret this ethos through contemporary sound design, expressing it as a musical form of hospitality.
