Letting Go

DJ Shimamura toured overseas from 2024 to 2025 in the UK (Bristol), Australia (Brisbane), and Thailand (Bangkok), and this latest album incorporates the atmosphere he absorbed there!

Many songs feature guest vocalists for the first time, including "Kirishima Waka", known for singing Ichigo Hoshimiya in the anime "Aikatsu!" and for his work in the vocal unit "Mia REGINA", "AIRI KIRISHIMA", known for his work in the music production group "I've", "hinata", who mainly works with band sounds in Mie Prefecture, and "Kossi Caldwell", who has a wide range of artistic activities such as LIVE and illustrations that incorporate hardware equipment.

The latest style of happy hardcore is reconstructed with DJ Shimamura's unique interpretation, and Tr.6 features breakbeats hardcore inspired by his experience in Bristol.
Track 7 also features Eurobeat tracks by DJ Shimamura, who provided them for Initial D.

EQUINOX

"CLIMAX" is the latest album by DJ Shimamura, who continues to lead the Happy Hardcore culture in Japan!

"Nextra" is a collaboration with "AZK", the artist name of Shibuya Azusa, who is also active as a voice actress, model, and member of the Denon Club, and has garnered a lot of support from both Japan and overseas.
"Hold Your Head High" is a collaboration with "Whizzkid", a legend who has won many awards in the UK, the home of Happy Hardcore, known for his releases on Monstercat, and who is still active at the forefront of the scene.
"FROM THE LAND OF RAVING SUN" is a collaboration with "Numb'n'dub", an icon of the breakcore scene.
"Unison" features vocalist "Renko" from the US and "DJGEN" from Sendai on scratching.
"FRESH" is the first collaboration in 12 years with labelmate "Rakuten Sai".
"SOLDIER," also with "MC RALLY," features a re-edited dub created for a party held at Akihabara MOGRA in August 2023, with re-recorded vocals.

DJ Shimamura presents 11 floor-direct tracks, mainly Happy Hardcore, Jungle/Drum&Bass, Happy Techno, Lounge music, etc.

The jacket is illustrated by the genius of Kansai street art culture, "Okusan Banana.JP," and designed by DJ Poyoshi, who is also known for his jacket work for MEGAREX and others. Mastering is handled by DJ Noriken, who is well-known for mastering many domestic hard dance albums.
