Inspired by Bruce Lee’s script for the series Warrior, a HBO Max martial arts crime drama that is executive produced by Bruce’s daughter, Shannon Lee, this compilation includes songs that are being considered for Season 3 of Warrior. The album blurs the line between the action-packed life in San Francisco’s Chinatown in the 1880’s and the tumultuous twists and turns of contemporary life. The album explores some of the most controversial topics that only Hip Hop has the courage and capacity to address; greed, money, crime, loyalty, brotherhood, ethnic tensions, sinophobia, violence and freedom.
