乐队成立于法国，自1977年到1979年的两年期间，乐队的灵魂人物Philippe Fichot以Die Form的名义出版了进20张的自制卡带，后来他签约德国的厂牌Normal并开始出版唱片，在1992年乐队的女成员Elaine P正式加入Die Form形成了乐队现在的固定阵容，他们的音乐中充满了情欲，虐恋，诱惑，性爱和淫乱，他们在狂燥的机械尖叫中呻吟，在诡异的旋律和电声实验中浪漫缠绵，并在电声堆砌的工业化声音中渗出浓郁的中世纪的阴暗，进入另人目眩神迷的性爱的幻想世界。
