MOHO에 이어 Gwac의 두번째 앨범으로, 도파민을 쏟아내는 모든 것들에 대한 중독, 자극 후에 따라오는 허무와 싫증, 그리고 음악을 향한 중독과정에 대해 이야기한다. 

경험과 감정을 음악적 실험을 통해 감성적으로 표현하는 아티스트 Gwac의 두 번째 앨범 ‘Same Old’. 도파민을 쏟아내는 모든 것들에 대한 중독, 자극 후 느껴지는 허무와 싫증, 그리고 음악을 향한 중독 과정에 관해 이야기 한다.

"Addict”는 혼란과 불안에 빠진 삶의 한 순간을 그린다. 일상의 지루함과 스트레스로부터 벗어나고 싶어 하지만, 현실에서 피하지 못하는 어려움에 부딪히는 무력함과 도전, 희망과 절망의 감정을 상징적으로 담아낸다.

"Keep Me Sane"은 타인과의 관계에서의 어려움을 다룬다. 친구와의 갈등, 불화, 그리고 실망에 직면한 인간은 음악을 통해 정신적인 안정을 찾는다. 어떤 상황에서도 음악이 어떻게 우리를 안정시키고 위로하는지 감미롭게 표현한다.

첫 앨범 MOHO에 이어 Gwac의 음악은 현대 사회를 살아가는 고난과 어려움을 솔직한 감정으로 풀어내어 듣는 이들에게 공감을 불러일으키며, 모든 이들에게 위로와 용기를 전달한다. 


Gwac, an artist who emotionally expresses his experiences and emotions through musical experimentation, presents his second album 'Same Old.' The album explores addiction to everything that triggers a release of dopamine, the sensations that follow stimulation, and the process of becoming addicted to music.

"Addict" portrays a moment in life marked by confusion and anxiety. It symbolically conveys the emotions of helplessness, challenge, hope, and despair as one grapples with the inability to escape the difficulties of the mundane and the stress of reality.
"Keep Me Sane" addresses the difficulties in human relationships, such as conflicts, discord, and disappointment with friends. It beautifully illustrates how music can provide mental stability and solace, regardless of the situation.

Following his debut album 'MOHO,' Gwac's music candidly reflects the hardships and challenges of contemporary society, evoking empathy in listeners and offering comfort and courage to all."

상실과 부정, 후회, 그리고 내려놓음을 순서대로 나열한 앨범입니다.
어쩌면 너무 추상적이고 지극히 개인적인 이야기라 공감하기는 어려운 음악일 수 있지만, 
처음 제 이름으로 내는 음악인만큼 가장 표현하고 싶고, 말하고 싶었던 이야기로 만들어 봤습니다. 

My first EP ‘MOHO’ narrates the themes in order of loss, denial, regret, and letting it be. 
The songs might sound a bit abstract and personal, and the themes might sound a bit sad, 
but throughout the making of this EP and digging through my past experiences, I learned that sadness has a lot of dimensions for me. Some of the saddest memories are sometimes the most beautiful things I know. There’s no need to try and erase them, nor do I need to run away from them.
It’s not like I’m healed or I’m over my past, but mere trying of letting it be.
By just letting it be, I see a little bit of light in my unsettling mind.
