THE BUFFALOZ, ICHI and TOMO - you probably wouldn't have heard of these names until a few years ago.
Because some of them were active in different places and some under different names.
ICHI was active as RAW-T in the rap group "ICE DYNASTY", which symbolized Japanese rap in the 2000s, and then worked as a rapper and fixer for Yellowhandrecords.
TOMO belonged to the Asakusa reggae sound crew RACY BULLET in the late 2000s and participated in numerous compilations, attracting attention for his beautiful singing voice, but he never released a solo album and is currently active with Yellowhandrecords.
He attracted attention with his remix albums of THE BUFFALOZ and BES, but has undergone several member changes and name changes due to various circumstances to reach the present.
However, the pace of production has not slowed down, and this year he will release two instrumental albums and two remix albums, and seven works are scheduled to be released in the second half of 2025.
ATID is the first work by these three artists who left the past behind and set out on a new path to paradise.

In the year 2021, a mysterious production team, Zangyaku Buffalo Z appeared out of nowhere, wearing cow headgear to hide their faces.

They were a production team that was going their own unique way by uploading remixes of Western music on YouTube and various social networking services, and were followed by hip-hop-loving comedian Yasuko, but their Twitter account (now X) was banned due to rights issues.

After that, they changed direction and worked on remix albums of Japanese rap artists such as BES (SCARS), hyunis1000 (Neibiss), and SHAKU, and then changed their name to THE BUFFALOZ when the front man, DJ Zankoku-san, left the group for various reasons.

After that, he released remix albums for Oni (Oni Family, Pinzolo), Tsubaki, and the OMEN44, NIPPS & VIKN unit 25:17, etc. Finally, in 2025, when the time was right for him to be in the sun, he released a beat tape to demonstrate his true ability without regret. NOT FOR SALE.

The groove that should have been completed with rap on it is instead completed with beats alone, a style that has no intention of having the beats used at all. This is one of the forms of BUFFALOZ that we arrived at during a period of desperate production when we were not taken seriously by the industry at all.
