2015年，由中国宁波鄞州官方文化部与马来西亚音乐人陈凯菱联手打造钟公庙街纪念日的主题曲，并且在鄞州电视台的春晚上现场演出此歌曲。2022年，此赞颂【钟元鼎】又名【钟公】的歌曲再次重新发布。 南宋庆元六年（1200）至嘉泰四年（1204），鄞县知县钟元鼎，字廉，以奉议郎知鄞，任中致力水利事业，重排涝灌溉，率民兴筑鹊巢碶，捕蝗除害，百姓深受其益，于碶旁修钟廉庙予以祭祀。明时，改庙额为“忠廉”， 清道光二十四年（1844），为避名讳，改庙额为“钟公”。后人为纪念钟元鼎，将该地域取名为“钟公庙”。
