Your getting fresh lets run a mile

Bound to crawl

Yes I started off quite easy

Confident of victory

When the first lap ended

I was feeling splendid

Watching the second lap we

Started trying Miss Constance passed me

Like she was flying

I will never forget the way she

Opened up when the track get wet

When you talk about running

She makes me feel I was walking

She wanted to love me apparently

She wanted to gain me

So I got up I got with a winning mind

I made a terrific drive from behind

The winner no one could tell

We were coming in together

When you hear the bell

When the last lap started

I wasn't feeling splendid

My legs started wobbling see me

On the track I was tumbling

In the middle of the lap

I got so confused my foot slipped out of my

Running shoes

I got big and fall and my foot

Wouldn't fit in my shoes at all

Here's my explanation

I did not give satisfaction I said

My lady you want me

Because the water had the track slippery

Wasn't for those big running shoes

Bet your life I wouldn't loose she said

No excuse at all the shoe ain't too big

It's your foot too small
