Society has values that you must uphold

Think for yourself don't swallow what you're told

Beauty and wealth the media obsesses with them

These images to which we all aspire

Financial gain unrealistic expectations

And those who fail are thrown up on the pile

Small triumphs that I see

Mean so much more to me

And every day is just another struggle

We make our way in spite of all the lies
