In time acceptance will come too

Or for that matter

Though you said that time was blind

Now you're in a place

That only exists in my mind

And I have this image of you leaning out the window

Your lungs encapsulating smoke

I would give everything to smell your cigarettes burning

Your words were passive when you spoke

I feel you with me all the time

Your guiding hands lead mine

But I miss the stories that you tell

And the knitted garments that you always used to wear

I'm wearing nothing but your love

I can honestly say I think about you every day and

I have this image of you leaning out the window

This house is empty

The shelves are bear

Your presence felt but your not there

I glance where you sit I mean

Where you sat

I'm still readjusting still getting used to that

Know you won't show up at my door
