What a beautiful morning the sun shining bright

As I look from the window with tears in my eyes

The eastern horizon just gave birth to the light

But it's raining in my world and not a cloud in the sky

When you were my shelter and the clouds would appear

You'd hold me close and the sky would soon clear

Now the tiny world I live in without you by my side

The raindrops are falling but not a cloud in the sky
