Water People - Grouper

The stars are captured as they fall to the sea

The light the water is receiving

I haven't caught their kind of light

In me

The kind that always always is leaving

The walls are gathered and draw me out to the sea

For I can feel the water moving

I want the pattern of the waves

In me

Hold the mirror up to catch them

The loneliness I can't describe in me

Like tracing out the shape of water

The mirror's held up to the wave and read

Say I'm the one that's always leaving
