〈Antidepressant〉由 Salty Chick 曲詞編監，將抗抑鬱藥、返工疲勞與解離感，寫成一場 Windows 2000 式的逃生夢。
歌曲以 Y2K 電腦遊戲感、公司通知聲、Teams 訊息聲、indie pop 結他與廣東話 melodic rap，砌出一個半現實、半失真的 digital fantasy。像一個開太久的電腦桌面，彈窗不斷出現，系統仍然運作，但人已經快要離線。
“I don’t wanna wake up” 不只是賴牀，也不是單純想逃避。那是一種食了藥之後仍然醒不過來的疲憊：身體在返工，靈魂卻 load 不入現實。Salty Chick 把自己困在倫敦 office life 與香港 artist journey 之間，一邊被工作消耗，一邊又靠工作支撐音樂。
MV 中，主角跌入一個 Windows 2000 式的幻想世界。現實愈沉重，畫面愈像遊戲；人生愈難醒來，音樂愈像唯一出口。
到 outro 的 “Dissociate from me”，歌曲終於完全沉入夢境。那不是治癒，而是一種短暫抽離：從打工身份、城市疲勞與現實責任之中離線，留在幻想世界裏，不想醒返。
With “Antidepressant”, Salty Chick turns corporate burnout into a glitching Windows 2000 fantasy: a sharp single about medication, office life and the urge to disappear into a screen.
Written, composed, arranged and produced by Salty Chick, the track blends Y2K game sounds, Teams-style corporate notifications, indie pop guitars and Cantonese melodic rap. It sounds nostalgic and playful on the surface, but underneath is a darker question: what happens when the life that drains you is also the life funding your escape?
“I don’t wanna wake up” becomes both a mental-health hook and an artist statement. It captures antidepressant fatigue, but also Salty Chick’s split reality between London office survival and her Hong Kong artist world.
The video pushes this into a Windows 2000-inspired digital dreamscape, where work anxiety, old computer games and error pop-ups collapse into one another. Reality becomes a system she cannot exit. Music becomes the only way to log out.
By the outro, “Dissociate from me” lands as the final command: a pop song about using fantasy to survive a life too heavy to load.
