These melodies were composed in this hundred years and have been popular all over China, even spread overseas to everywhere the Chinese people arrive. All of these music works are joyful and passionate to express well the lively atmosphere in celebrating Chinese New Year. Especially to mention about four new pieces of Chinese percussion music by maestro Zhu Xiaolin ‘To Welcome the God of Properties’, ‘The Lucky Lions Lead to Fortunate’, ‘Fan Dance’ and ‘The Ice-lantern Festival’. Moreover, a souna piece ‘In the Festival Ceremony’ by maestro Wu Anming, a zhuihu piece ‘The Joyful New Year’ by maestro Ma Guanglu, as well as renowned banhu music ‘Full of Joy’ by maestro Liu Mingyuan. There are several pieces of orchestral music with grand momentum, such as ‘The Golden Dragon Is Waving’, ‘Sing and Dance For the Festival’ and ‘New-year Feast in the Spring’. Three famous national orchestras were invited to perform in this album, they are ‘Chinese National Orchestra’, ‘Chinese Cinema Philharmonic Troupe’ and ‘Chinese Classic Troupe of Beijing’.
