You’ve been waiting long enough, and now it’s finally here…. the highly anticipated release of The Christianaires:  Thank You.  Every so often, a project actually lives up to the hype that’s generated before its release.  This is definitely one of those projects.  Newly signed to the Marxan Record label, all the stops have been pulled to create a bold blend of traditional and contemporary styling, presenting this legendary group in a whole new way.

Quartet singing is firmly rooted in gospel music and the singers are often family members, which helps to create the tight vocal blend so closely associated with quartet harmony.  The Christianaires are just such a group.  Brothers Tyrone, Charles, and Paul Porter, along with cousin Ronald Brown and George Carter, combine to form a signature sound that is uniquely The Christianaires.

Production soars to a new standard with J. Moss’s “Look at Jesus”; Marcus Devine’s “All You’ve Done”; Doug Williams’s “Another Day”; and Aaron Lindsey’s “Lift Up your Hands.” 
Vocal talents include Melvin Williams of The Williams Brothers (The Blood ) and Charles  Woolfolk.

Because of this highly anticipated release, a special promotional campaign is scheduled to launch The Christianaires’ project into both radio and television markets.
