Zhang Jianfu is an electronic musician working in Changchun, and he used to create under the code name jfi. His works include field recording, soundtracks, and theater music. He started making music in 2007, and his works deeply reveal a low-key, introverted, romantic, and warm spiritual essence. He has been committed to research and writing ambient music for many years. Through research, comparison, mapping, and other experiments on sound frequency, he tries to create and develop minimalist landscapes with new forms and specialized structures. He is good at dealing with textures and layers, inherent sound, and imperceptible sounds, thus creating an environment that people never want to leave.
