Well I was born in the 60's in the grey year of make belive

When the flowers rulde the world

And I grow up in the 70's when the shepper was a gold I have

But I ditten have a care I this world

I sit and wonder where they went

The glorious days

When I was a boy

I used to fight with my little brother

About almost anything

We shared the same small room

Telling storys at night

Running naked in the pouring rain

Then the sun was a gold I have

Still hear my mama call

Call out my name
