The light is all across the street

And from where I'm sitting I can make out your shadow

And though I've never seen your face

I dream about our fast embrace

What if the street caved inwards

Our two buildings leaned into each other

Our two windows pressed up like this

What if we were fast to kiss

And then we were alone

In a dream

You and me

Truth as I've always known

This is how it would be

And what if you were beautiful

And just as gorgeous as I dreamed you are

And I turned out to be your dream- guy

Looking right into my eyes you said

Take me away from all this mess

Fly through the sky with your hand in mine

To another land where we haven't a bother

And we don't have to worry about losing each other
