My Ability to communicate has dwindled in the fog

I got a fence around our yard to keep out the neighbors dog

I got a rusted out Impala with weeds growin out the trunk

And nothin ever gets done around here because I'm always drunk

I've got scizophrenic nightmares runnin through my mind

I remember when things were clear and I could see just fine

When they use to see just fine

But the neighbors dog keeps barkin treein little squirrels

The U S A keeps marchin round with its flag unfurled

And I try and try to maintain a simple way of life

When you're all alone nothin makes any sense

I guess I'll get myself a hammer and nails and build another fance

Whatever happend to the Mason-Dixon Line

Well It seem to me that black and white both turn gray with time
