Off to a place where I feel safe

Cos all I see is make believe

I try my best but it gets to me

Caught in this misery

I wear my heart upon my sleeve

This can't be our destiny

But it very well may be

I look around how are they proud

Another day we throw away

While others pray for the rain to stay

What do we hope to achieve

It's such a harsh reality

Stuck on the outside
