Rocky Roberts
Rocky Roberts (Miami, Florida 23 august 1941 - Roma, Italia 13 january 2005) was an American R&B singer who gained greater success in Italy than in the US. Onetime professional boxer who later had a singing career. He was a boxer in the US for several years until an injury ended his career in the ring. He was serving in the US military when he was scouted in Naples. He introduced soul music to Italy, and set fashion trends for Italian youths in the 1960s.Started as a youth boxer and lasted until he suffered a broken jaw.
