Mahalia

An all-consuming passion for singing and performing has laid the foundation for the exciting artist Mahalia is today. At the age of nine she performed alongside Hugh Jackman in ‘The Boy From OZ’. In 2007 at age 11, she toured internationally with the Australian Girls Choir through North America performing at places like Disney Land, Texas Rodeo and Universal Studios. Mahalia discovered her true love and passion was found in song writing and performance. She has shared her heartfelt relatable songs on the streets of Brisbane and Melbourne, creating passionate fans and reaching people from all walks of life with her amazing talent. Mahalia’s talent was also acknowledged by winning The Lord Mayors Christmas Star, which gave her the opportunity to perform with many Australian music icons in front of an audience of 10,000 people. Mahalia hopes to continue to find new places for her talent to shine, like performing again at Easterfest in 2015 and releasing more of her original tracks. She continues to write and record and will be releasing her single ‘Angel’s Song’ in the near future followed by a long awaited EP entitled ‘Run’
