Little Corner returns with another fresh cut from label mainstay G3, featuring two different mixes of his track &apos;Harrington&apos;. The &apos;Original Mix&apos; stays focused on the rich, nuanced bass sound the producer is known for, while the ethereal &apos;Just Friends Mix&apos; showcases a more delicate pallette.

Buckinghamshire-based newcomer G3 has returned with another 12&amp;#8243; on his newly founded Little Corner imprint. Titled Red Grape/ Locals Only the single sees a return to the more upbeat and playful nature of the first venture on his label, Wunilla.

Red Grape, the more lighthearted and atmospheric of the two, exhibits an array of synth-pops and melodic chords, all decorated with an assortment of looping Speak n Spell samples. While with the flip G3 has gone back to basics, building up tension with a series of meditive rolling drums leading into a medley of heavy kicks and fast-paced percussion.

LUPO / The Flying Carpet

&apos;&apos;LUPO&apos;&apos;s pungent pitchbent chords wouldn&apos;t sound out of place on an early Night Slugs single, and the video game bleeps and skeletal dubstep beat have plenty of precedent, too. But the way G3 works with his materials is intriguing and often surprising; the ideas are still flowing when we enter the closing minute. &apos;The Flying Carpet&apos; is even better. The purple swagger of its chords would suggest a Joker-style banger; what we get instead is delicate and small-scale, all pitter-patter percussion and skittish sub-bass.&apos; - Angus Finlayson
