Roddy Ricch Life, Family & Early Days American Hip-Hop rapper, singer, and songwriter Rodick Wayne Moore, Jr. is popularly known as Roddy Rich was born on 22nd October 1998 in Compton, California. He did his schooling from Carson Senior High School and Westchester Enriched Sciences Magnets. His youth was spent in Atlanta, Georgia. The artist is a born singer, he started singing and creating wraps at an early age of 8. At 16, he used to create his own beats. As he grew up, he became a member of the Park Village Compton Crips. He used to listen to Lil Wayne and Young Thug and the Future while growing up. His music is considered to be a part of the Trap genre. The singer with a raspy voice is known for mixing singing and rapping in his music. The West Coast Rapper was very fond of his grandmother who was from Louisiana. He cherished the time he spent with her learning music in the South. The young singer is a father to a son with his girlfriend Allie Kay. Later on, DaBaby’s single featuring him turned out to be his second to reach the number one spot on Hot 100. He released an EP Labled Be 4 Tha Fame in 2018. In the same year, he released his single, "Die Young" which was dedicated to his childhood friend, the video reached 80 million views on Youtube and 120 million over Spotify. He also appeared as a guest invited by Nipsey Hussle at PowerHouse Concert in Los Angeles in 2018. In August 2018, he released the single "Ricch Forever". In 2019, The track "Ballin”, which was in collaboration with American DJ Mustard from the album “Perfect Ten” reached the highest-charting song in Hot 100 making the singers peaking at number 1.
