The Summer Isles (Sundown)

Snuck out as the lights went down,

The only noise for miles around.

Green light flashing across the bay,

Bring me in from far away.

And I’ve never seen the stars so high

As the still, dark night of that island sky.

Watching the satellites go by,

Thinking Heaven looks at us sometimes.

Gently meets our naked eyes.
