Yohei Torii, a multi-talented DJ, beat-maker, creative director, and designer, has released a new single titled "All For You," channeling the sounds of 1990s R&B and hip-hop soul. The track features singer-songwriter A.Y.A as a guest artist, marking their second collaboration since 2018's "Rockabye feat. Bell & A.Y.A."
The release coincides with the rising popularity of Japanese R&B overseas, following the city pop trend. With its mellow synths and punchy kicks, the song reflects Yohei Torii's deep appreciation for the 1990s and 2000s sound-a key part of his musical identity.
The collaboration with A.Y.A, who is currently based in London, was produced remotely across borders. While A.Y.A has recently embraced more electronic sounds, she revisits her earlier alternative R&B and hip-hop roots in this track. Longtime fans will be pleasantly surprised, as the song carries a nostalgic feel, infused with euphoric vibes.

The remixed edition of "TYO," originally released last summer, has now made its debut. The original track boasted a cool phrasing and a captivating melody accompanied by danceable beats, despite its lack of bass. It soared to No. 1 on the iTunes Japanese House Chart, marking the most successful chart entry in A.Y.A's career.

Ryuuta Takaki, the driving force behind the innovative label "makran," recently took part in the real-time collaboration event "Beyond Time and Space - London, Tokyo Online 2023," showcasing his international presence facilitated through communication technology showcased his excellent work in this remix version. The tune is tailored for a more dancefloor-friendly sounds, the pristine chord synths and the UK garage-style swinging beats not only heighten the transparency of the original but also transform it into a groovy and refined dance tune.

The song underwent mastering by Kentaro Kimura, recognized for his work with artists like Denki Groove, Fishmans, Clammbon, and Hitsujibungaku, continuing his role as the mastering engineer from the original version.

The resulting sound is appropriately celebratory, aligning with A.Y.A's declaration that "2024 is a year of a new beginning."

Originally created as a new song to be exclusively performed live, the quality was so impressive that they decided to proceed with an official recording, leading to its release this time. Singer-songwriter A.Y.A. has unveiled her new music release, "TYO," a solid and sophisticated house music tune with modern club production that draws inspiration from the vibrant energy of the Tokyo club scene. 

After the release of her previous single, "Sugar-Constant Duality-" in April 2022, A.Y.A was immersing herself in dance music. Not only she made her debut as DJ, but she also produced and hosted the DJ interviewing show named"WHY WE PLAY" with Pioneer DJ Japan.
