Singer/songwriter Mike Lane travelled the globe to find undiscovered talents to record his songs for this CD. He found the PoppyOtts in Alaska, Blu Montag in France, Migraine Tambien in Costa Rica, The Manny Sanguillen 7 in their boat near Madagascar, and forged a dynamic new duo with Kiki Klein (and himself) in Kiki's House,Mike's Party. Each group recorded 2 of Lane's tunes under his direction,and the result is a surprisingly unified collection both sonically and thematically. Songs like "Move My Soul" and "Everything Forever" rock with 12-string guitar leads and booming bass,while "I Can't Get" and "Pop Music/Soul Music" slink by with a seductive r&b vibe.Each song will leave you singing its catchy chorus.
