约翰 奥格登（John Ogdon 1937-1989）钢琴家、作曲家、作家。曾被认为是英国最伟大的音乐天才。奥格登的钢琴天才早年就被证实。他向埃林森（Iso Elinson）和派瑞特（Egon Petri）学习，二十一岁在伦敦第一次登台演奏布索尼的钢琴协奏曲，后来这个作品成为他的保留曲目还录了音。1962年奥格登在莫斯科柴科夫斯基国际比赛中获胜，他与阿什肯纳奇分享冠军奖金，从此开始了国际演艺生涯。
