Trivium
15.3k Followers乐队早在1999年成立于奥兰多，当时读高中的Matt在一次学校演出中翻唱了美国朋克乐队Offspring的"Self Esteem" 给乐队最初的主唱Brad Lewter留下了深刻印象.他邀请Matt来进行演奏.俩个人于是到鼓手Travis Smith那里，一起演奏了Metallica的"For Whom the Bell Tolls".对Matt的表现大为惊讶，于是正式邀请Matt加入了这支名为Trivium的乐队担任吉他手，trivium正式成立.不久原主唱离开乐队，年仅15岁的Matt开始身兼主唱和吉他手，并且包揽了乐队的创作，在Matt的带顶下乐队频繁参加各种小型演出，在当地逐渐小有名气.
