Shyla Roe

Shyla Roe is a diverse young artist, born in London & raised in southern Spain in a uniquely diverse family. She enjoys experimenting with genres & languages alike making her music both inclusive and multicultural. Roe took interest in music at an incredibly young age performing at any given chance throughout her schooling years & representing Sotogrande International for multiple charity events including Gibraltar world music festival 2015. At just 13 she started recording and before long was writing her own songs building from freestyles she’d tape. After 3 years the industry started to take notice and Shyla was signed for a management deal with DJL Management London, various major, as well as mid-sized record labels, started showing their interest in her work shortly thereafter. In 2017 she moved to Brighton to pursue her musical education in vocals & song writing & is now studying the Production Degree at BIMM University. Shyla has always managed to combine her devotion for music with her academic pressures. Whilst studying, Roe also carried out extensive charity work in locations like Spain & Uganda, even participating in the Modern United Nations projects to highlight some of their humanitarian crises. Shyla aims to spread awareness, a message via her music to help tackle & aid ongoing humanitarian & environmental issues. Proceeds from her gigs & events as well as her brand will help support specific matters in the hope that together we can make change.
