84 Followers2008年，goldEN正式成立。“goldEN”的名字来源，以音乐风格定名。由于早期拣选的demo多以英伦风居多，故产生了"Eng"的联想。然后在胡乱调动字母的情况下，出现了"goldEN"的意像，既可点出组合较“西化”-的风格，又可寓意二人希望成为音乐上的“黄金组合”，亦指二人希望好好把握这次“黄金”机会，在乐坛分享自己钟爱的音乐和出一分力。
