Morgan Ashley

Morgan Ashley is a pop singer and songwriter with over ten years of experience. Her singing talent grew in church where she practiced and sang with the choir. Her sound and style provided many opportunities for solo renditions. Morgan started recording at the age of fifteen. In 2004, she participated in a singing competition held at the Los Angeles Convention Center, she won first place and the Grand Champion Title. Her performances have included both public and private organizations with venues in Las Vegas, Hollywood-House of Blues, Key club in Hollywood, The Legendary Joint club in LA. The RAW​in Pomona​and Long Beach, etc. Her passion for music, singing and performing has resulted in the completion of her most recent project of an Album. Currently she is preparing to launch a single CD from that Album entitled “Fire.” The video for the song is in editing and will soon to​ be release. While holding down a regular job Morgan has focused on a professional career as a pop vocal recording artist. She hails from Los Angeles, California and finds herself inspired to pen songs from events and happenstance that occur in her daily life. She also does collaborative work with peers and friends. Morgan co-wrote four songs on her latest album and currently she is writing songs in preparation for a second album. Morgan's professional development and communication skills makes it second nature for her to perform before large crowds. One such venue was at the Los Angeles Theatre located in the heart of downtown Los Angeles. She performed in front of 3000 attendees at a music concert in November of 2003. She has a penchant for infusing her audience as she engages them while performing. In 2010, Morgan participated with KIIS FM annual "Wango Tango" event held at Universal Studio's. Morgan Ashley has a good ear for music. (When heard) she is good at mimicking and imitating the same sound. During recording a song, she follows instruction well and listens to the sound which makes her recording easy and fun. ​In 2012, Morgan represented Mix-TV on Direct TV, a division of The Filipino Channel (TFC) in​​ San Francisco as a host of their Top Ten music videos televised internationally through the ABS-CBN TFC channel. Taking part as host showcased a natural ability for Morgan to engage her audience and allow them to feel a part of what she is doing. She looks forward to another opportunity to host again. Morgan graduated high school at one of the prestigious schools of performing arts, LACHSA - L.A. County High School for the Arts. Morgan currently lives in Southern California and plans to release her song “Fire” this summer "2014."
